Alchemy Foodtech
Alchemy Foodtech has created a powdery blend of plant fibres called Diabetec. Diabetec can be shaped to resemble starchy foods such as rice, noodles or our. A Diabetec-grain can be added to white rice to reduce the rice’s glycemic index without changing its taste or texture, making it an alternative to coarse whole grains. According to founders Alan Phua and Verleen Goh, a 9% fibrous mix can reduce a food’s GI from 80 to 68.
Avant Meats
Avant Meats is a food tech company based in Hong Kong whose motto is, “Gratify without sacrifice.”
As a food ingredient production company, it is producing cell-based fish maw, and are concurrently researching muscle cells with a view to evolve their products to sea cucumber and eventually fish fillet.
IXON
IXON’s advanced sous-vide aseptic packaging is a patent pending processing/packaging technology that allow foods, such as meet, fish, eggs, vegetables and fruit to be sterilized at 60 to 80 degree celcuis. Through sterilization at such low temperatures, food manufacturers can turn perishable foods, such as medium-rare steak and poached eggs, into shelf-stable products.
Lify is the world’s first smart wellness-tech platform with a vision to provide a personalised wellness tea experience. Equipped with an AI wellness evaluation tool and a smart herbal brewer, Lify is reinventing traditional herbal wisdom by providing the busy urban dweller with insights into their physical condition and recommending herbal tea drinks as natural remedies and health boosters. Our solution is holistic, from the machine, standardised tea discs to a data-driven App.
Lify has been recognised by international awards including GOOD DESIGN, A’Design Awards, IDA Awards, A&D Trophy Awards, European Product Design Award and German Design Award 2020.

Green Monday is a multi-faceted social venture group that aims to tackle climate change, global food insecurity, public health and animal welfare issues. Founded on April 22nd, 2012 in Hong Kong, GM has targeted to champion a sustainable food system by advocating a once-a-week plant-based meal philosophy.
Right Treat by Green Monday is a food-tech company that launched the pork alternative Omnipork.
Farm 66
Farm66 uses innovative technologies to produce safe and healthy agricultural products to sustain humanities while protecting our environment for future generations.
They are a Hong Kong based agri-tech start-up, and for the two day summit they will be showcasing samples of their produce, grown in their 20,000 sq ft aquaponics facility and sharing their insight.

With a small space from a restaurant owner they are determined to bring own-grown, fresh, soilless and additive-free food to everyone’s table.
ReHealthier
ReHealthier health prediction models and correlation algorithms analyse and monitor users’ subtle change of health so as to intervene and prescribe the instant and most effective personalised healthy eating advice for the avoidance of various chronic and pre-chronic conditions, such as diabetes & hypertension.
ReHealthier is now an Analytic-as-a-Service Cloud platform. API and sample code are available for paid healthcare partners.
Ceco International
Ceco International is a company that creating food products with microalgae and compounds found in microalgae using Geb Impact technology. Their mission is to create and promote solutions that help maintain a healthier life with a better way to eat more nutritionally dense versions of food. Some of the microalgae and compounds they use includes euglena for its high nutritional values and astaxanthin for its antioxidant properties.

Spidfier
Spidfier is a DNA analyser for fish identification. This lab-in-a-box can sequence fish DNA from meat sample in under 30 minutes with no technician required. From the DNA you can identify fish species, fish origin, detect any pathogen or tampering from water injection. This machine arms regulators and consumers with information allowing them to combat the rising problem of fish fraud through intentional mislabeling of fish, as well as promote seafood sustainability by quickly allowing multiple tests to be conducted in spot checks of fisheries, suppliers and retailers. It also benefits food safety.
